Today, the weight and importance of the entrepreneurial dynamic in the economy of a country or territory cannot be overestimated. This means that this dynamic constitutes a real platform for the economic development of territories, especially for competitiveness clusters. The objective of this article is to study the effect of entrepreneurial dynamics on the economic performance of these clusters. Hence the central question is the following: To what extent do entrepreneurial dynamics contribute to the improvement of the economic performance of clusters? To answer this question, we conducted a theoretical study based on a literature review of the determinants of entrepreneurial dynamics and indicators of the economic performance of these clusters. A careful analysis of theoretical data led us to observe that the entrepreneurial dimension occupies a key place in the structuring of clusters, and to reveal that the improvement of specific indicators measuring the economic performance of clusters, including economic growth, employment, value added generated and total productivity, requires an entrepreneurial dynamism reflected in the evolution of business creation, their development and a diversity of entrepreneurial activity within the clusters.
